Scary, Scary Sasha
Creepy, crawly bugs give Sasha goose bumps. First, she finds a bug in her favorite food. Second, she sees a bug crawling all over her favorite toy. Then, she dreams that thousands of bugs invade the world. And now Sasha has to pick vegetables from her mother’s garden — a dark, eerie place where she believes all of the creepy, crawly bugs live forever and ever. Her mother tries to convince Sasha that everyone is afraid of something, and that many of the bugs in the garden are there to protect the vegetables. But will she stand up to those bugs in the garden despite her fear?
Scary, Scary Sasha illustrates how a young girl challenges her fear and transforms into a proud, courageous leader who develops knowledge and respect for the creepy, crawly species of the garden world. Join Sasha on her exciting, yet daunting trek, while examining your own personal fears and accomplishments along the way. A great read for ages 4 to 7 (and adults) who desire to build confidence and determination.
